We’re excited to announce the promotion of Nick Schupp to Director of Solar & BESS at Renua Energy.
Nick joined Renua in June 2020 as as intern and became our very first full-time employee. From day one, he has played a foundational role in building and shaping our commercial solar operations. Through his leadership, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to our customers, Nick has helped drive the successful development and execution of numerous solar and energy storage projects.
Since joining the team, Nick has been directly involved in the growth of Renua’s commercial portfolio, supporting projects from early-stage development through engineering coordination, field execution, and final commissioning. His ability to bridge technical knowledge with operational leadership has helped elevate both performance standards and project outcomes.
Over the years, he has consistently expanded his knowledge across solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS), strengthened our project delivery processes, and embodied our customer-first philosophy. His work ethic, leadership, and mission-focused mindset have made a lasting impact on both our team and the clients we serve.
Nick’s progression from intern to Director reflects not only personal dedication, but the growth trajectory of Renua’s solar and storage division. His steady leadership has helped refine internal systems, mentor team members, and reinforce the disciplined execution that defines our work across New York.
As Director of Solar & BESS, Nick will continue to lead the growth and advancement of our commercial solar and storage initiatives, helping position Renua Energy for continued success.
